Metro-North reducing service on all lines after 10 p.m. Friday due to winter storm

Metro-North will operate a reduced weekday schedule on all lines starting at 10 p.m. Friday, March 2 with some combined and cancelled trains due to the impact of the winter storm and high winds. Riders should anticipate possible delays throughout the evening  and plan their trip accordingly to reach their destination by midnight.

Metro-North asks customers to exercise caution getting to/ from stations and on platforms, listen to station announcements.  Metro-North expects to operate regular weekend service on Saturday, March 3.

On the New Haven Line, Metro-North is cancelling these trains:

  •  The 10:09 p.m. local from Grand Central Terminal to Stamford; customers may take trains at 9:42 p.m. or 10:44 p.m.;
  • The 10:41 p.m. express from GCT to New Haven; customers may take trains at 10:06 or 11:26 p.m.;
  • The 11:09 p.m. local from GCT to Stamford; customers may take trains at 10:44 or 11:39 p.m..
