Students ticketed for illegal parking

Sixteen Wilton High School students who drive cars to school were ticketed Tuesday, Feb. 13, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. for parking on the grass on the side of Kristine Lilly Way.

Lt. Robert Kluk said the Wilton Police Department received a complaint that vehicles were being parked on the grass on the side of Kristine Lilly Way, “kicking up mud onto the teachers’ vehicles parked in the south lot of the high school.”

When officers arrived, he said, they found the vehicles “parked illegally in violation of posted no parking signs and ticketed them.”
